Website rebuild

Premier Contract Cleaning

A full rebuild for a family-owned commercial cleaning company in Dublin: new copy, design and build, written for offices and clinics, with a free site survey that can be booked from every page.

The business

Premier Contract Cleaning is a family-owned cleaning company based in Dublin 6W. Its teams clean offices, workplaces and clinics across Dublin, seven days a week, including evenings and weekends.

Each client gets a named team, with cover planned for holidays and sickness, and the Premier Connect app, where they can log an issue and get a response within the hour.

The challenge

The old website ran on WordPress, on a hosting plan the business wanted to drop. Its home page opened on a general heading over a blurred video, followed by a long checklist of qualities, so it said little about what sets Premier apart. Premier had already set out how it works in its own company presentation, but little of that reached the website.

Search was the part that couldn’t go wrong. Premier’s Google Business Profile was first in the map results for “commercial cleaning dublin” and “contract cleaning dublin”. The old sitemaps listed 304 addresses, from blog posts to area pages, and a few of the posts brought in search traffic of their own.

The direction

Build the site around the way Premier already explains its service: See it, Reach it, Trust it. Clients can check their site is covered without picking up the phone, every request has a named owner, and the standard holds when staff change.

Keep everything Google already links to Premier: the name, phone number and address exactly as they appear on the Business Profile, and “commercial cleaning” and “contract cleaning” on the home page.

Structure

The home page opens on “Your building. Our accountability.” with the numbers clients ask about: a 100% satisfaction rate, 114 Google reviews, more than ten years in the business and cover seven days a week. It then answers the three questions every client asks before switching cleaners: what happens if a cleaner doesn’t turn up, who to call when something goes wrong, and what happens if the regular cleaner leaves.

See it, Reach it, Trust it comes next, then the services, a comparison with large national providers and small independent cleaners, reviews, the sectors Premier works in and an FAQ.

Premier’s work comes down to two services, so the site has two service pages, Office Cleaning and Healthcare Cleaning, each with a full list of what’s included. Carpets, windows, deep cleans and floor care are add-ons within office cleaning rather than services of their own.

Every page ends with the same next step, a free site survey. The booking form has three short steps: the premises, the cleaning needed, and contact details with a weekday for the visit. Contracts start at five days and 20 hours a week, so smaller requests get a short contact form instead.

Messaging

Before writing, I looked at what people search for. The research pointed to offices and healthcare, meaning clinics, medical centres and GP and dental practices, in County Dublin, so the copy is written for those. Neighbourhood searches such as Sandyford or Dublin 2 had no measurable volume, so there are no area pages.

The copy follows Premier’s own presentation, built on a named team, planned cover and one person who answers for each site. Every figure on the site is one the client confirmed, from the 100% satisfaction rate to the response within the hour.

The 70 blog posts moved across with their titles and addresses unchanged, since changing a title that already ranks puts its position at risk.

Design

I traced Premier’s logo to a vector so it stays sharp at any size, and its burgundy runs through the site in highlights, labels and accent panels. Pages alternate white with a warm grey, and the sections that carry the key points, such as the three questions and the footer, sit on a warm black.

The photographs are Premier’s own: the team at work on client sites, and the full team together at a client’s car showroom. The hero plays the company’s own video of the team cleaning. The page opens on the video’s first frame, so nothing jumps when it starts, and phones get a version cut for a tall screen.

Development

The site is built with Astro and hosted on Cloudflare, in the client’s own account, with the code in the client’s own GitHub. The survey form is checked on the server and protected from bots, then sent straight to Premier’s enquiries inbox with the visitor’s address set for replies. The visitor gets a confirmation email with their answers and what happens next.

Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag only load after a visitor accepts cookies, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.

I moved the domain’s DNS to Cloudflare too. Email stayed with its existing provider, with every mail record copied exactly, and the app Premier’s clients use to report issues on site kept working through the move.

Before the switch, I mapped every address in the old sitemaps. Pages still worth having kept their addresses, others redirect in one step to the closest live page, and pages outside the new focus were retired.

The result

The new site went live on premiercontractcleaning.ie on 25 October 2026. All 304 addresses from the old sitemaps answer as planned: 74 keep their address, 100 redirect in one step to a live page, and the 130 outside the new focus are retired. Survey requests reach the enquiries inbox, and each visitor gets a confirmation by email.
