A better website starts with better thinking.

A complete business website, with structure, copy, design, SEO foundations, CMS requirements and development considered together from the beginning.

A website that does your business justice.

Your customers shouldn’t have to work hard to understand what you do.

A good business website makes the offer clear, gives people the information they need and creates a natural route to an enquiry, booking or conversation. We build around those decisions.

Whether you’re replacing an outdated website or starting from scratch, we begin with the business, not the layout.

Every page needs a job.

We don’t start by deciding how many pages a package should contain. We start by understanding what your customers need.

  • Your homepage introduces the business and sets the direction.

  • Service pages give important offers room to be understood.

  • Supporting pages answer questions, build confidence and add context.

  • Your contact experience makes the next step straightforward.

The structure is planned around your business, rather than forcing your business into a predetermined sitemap.

Considered as one project. From copy to code.

The copy is part of the build

You don’t need to arrive with every word written. We work through your existing material, services, audience and knowledge, then develop the headlines, positioning, service messaging, supporting sections and calls to action agreed in scope.

The goal isn’t to make your business sound clever. It’s to make it clear.

Design around the message

Once we know what the website needs to say, we develop the visual direction around it. Typography, colour, spacing, imagery and interaction should help people understand the content and recognise the quality behind it. The design has a job too.

Performance from the foundation

We build with Astro: a lightweight, modern base for content-led websites. Performance, responsive behaviour and clean implementation are part of development, not repairs before launch. A premium website that feels slow isn’t a premium experience.

A website you can actually manage

Some websites rarely change; others need new articles, projects or team members regularly. We decide which before development and, where editing matters, build a structured CMS with Sanity or EmDash that keeps the underlying architecture protected.

Technical SEO comes with it

Meaningful URLs, heading structure, metadata, canonical configuration, sitemap support, semantic markup and redirects where appropriate. The exact implementation depends on the website. Ranking guarantees aren’t part of the promise; a properly built foundation is.

Mobile isn’t the smaller version

Your customer might find you, compare services and get in touch entirely from their phone. Layout, navigation, typography, images, calls to action and forms are designed for small screens throughout the build, not checked at the end.

Edit what needs editing. Protect what shouldn’t be broken.

No unrestricted page builders that can break the design

From conversation to launch.

Questions, answered plainly.

How much does a business website cost?

Every website is quoted around the agreed scope. Page requirements, content, functionality, integrations and how much existing material we can work with all influence the project.

You’ll receive a clear scope and cost before committing to the build.

Is copywriting included?

Core website copywriting is part of our full website process. We agree the content requirements during scoping, so both sides are clear about what’s included.

If your project needs substantial research, specialist technical writing or a large volume of additional content, that can be scoped separately.

Is SEO included?

The technical and on-page SEO foundations appropriate to the build are included: how pages are structured, titled, linked and presented to search engines.

Ongoing SEO campaigns, link building and guaranteed rankings are separate services and aren’t implied by the website build.

Why do you use Astro rather than WordPress?

We specialise in focused business and marketing websites. For that work, Astro gives us the lightweight, performance-focused foundation we want, without defaulting to a traditional CMS architecture the project doesn’t need.

If a project’s requirements point to a different solution, we’ll say so rather than force Astro into the wrong job.

Will I be able to update the website?

Yes, where that’s part of the project requirements. We decide what needs to be editable during planning and integrate a content management system around it, working with Sanity or EmDash depending on the project.

What CMS do you use?

We don’t force every project onto one CMS. For content-managed Astro websites we primarily work with Sanity and EmDash, chosen by the type of content, the editing workflow, the complexity of the site and how you expect it to evolve.

If a website doesn’t need a CMS, we won’t add one just to add technical complexity.

Can you replace my existing website?

Yes. Before the new website goes live, we review what should be kept, rewritten, redirected or removed. Where URLs change, redirects are planned as part of the migration so the transition is handled properly.

Can you handle the domain and launch?

Yes. We can handle or assist with production deployment, domain configuration and launch requirements within the agreed scope. Existing email and other domain services are taken into account before any DNS changes are made.

Your business has already done the hard part.

The website should make that easier to see.
